Eleven representatives from various area electrical contractors have just
completed the 30 Hour Construction Outreach Safety Program.
The training was sponsored by the training committee of Local Union 163 in
cooperation with the National Electrical Contractors (NECA) and the
International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW).
The program is designed to enhance on-the-job safety awareness and provide a
safer environment for the electrical workers.
The Code of Federal regulations (29CFR1926) was used as a guideline. Participants
will receive completion cards from the OSHA Training Institute.
